Great music, profound stories, wonderful activities, excellent food, fine wine, beautiful art, and wonderful wonderful people making a difference. We raised over $13,000 and had roughly 300 people there spread among kids activities out front, great wine and goodies in the parking lot, and the fabulous art and entertainment in the hall. Hopefully, Sara will get her birthday wish this time.
Renee created a page and uploaded pictures from the event. You can click on the page to the right or here
Please post your stories, pictures, and thoughts. You can also continue to donate on-line.

Hi everyone,
My name is Gary Parsons and I will be helping out at CFC 08 by being the stage manager. This is generally a fun and fairly easy job to do, but it gets a little complex as I am also part of one of the bands that will be playing. The indefatigable David Culler has offered to help me out, but he is really the impresario of the entire event and will be spread fairly thin. Is there anyone else out there who would like to be an assistant stage manager for an afternoon? Let me know at tigermove2@there.net.

We would love to have community donations of food and beverages for the event. Last time we had a wonderful array, including Peace Baguettes from the Cheese Board. Please contact rlrobin@mac.com if you can help with this, or email createforchange@yahoo.com. We also will need help serving at the event.
Rock on.

The CFC 08 event is going to have great entertainment and, as one of the people managing the stage, I’d like to hear from the various acts regarding their requirements for set-up. The more specific the information the better (microphones, monitors, stage diagram, etc.). You can send this info to tigermove2@there.net.
As for the very nice flyer, I would encourage everyone to send it to all of their contacts and to encourage them to send it on to theirs. I’ll also be posting the flyer physically (!) in various locations and will deposit a certain number of them in neighborhood mailboxes. David, has the PR person thought of handing out flyers at the Farmer’s markets on the remaining Tuesdays, Thursdays and especially Saturdays?
Cheers Gary Parsons

When you log in you will find yourself in the WordPress dashboard. In the upper right your login name appears and below that the word “profile”. Click either of these to get to the page where you update your profile.
In much bigger font you will see Write. Click on that to write a post or a page or things like that. You write posts from the dashbord, but you can comment on posts from the regular page.
Click “Visit the Site” to get to the site. Now that you are logged in, it will give you links to post notices, make comments, or write pages.
Have fun.
